Ends: 27 Oct 2019

Ashton under Hill is a picturesque village situated at the foot of Bredon Hill, with idyllic views in all directions. It is surprisingly plentiful in a range of different plants and mushrooms throughout the year.

We will meet at the Star Inn, a friendly country pub in the heart of the village. The course starts there with a short introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes.

Then we’ll set off on a roughly 2.5 hour walk around the village, teaching you how to identify the different edible and poisonous plants and mushrooms that we find.

We will stop along the way for some seasonal homemade refreshments such as our lovely wild mushroom soup.

Then it’s back to the pub for a wild food lunch based on what we have found.

After the course we will email you a list of everything we talk about on the day to help you to remember what you have learnt.

Adults £50, under 16's £25, under 12's free.

The course runs from 12pm-3.30pm approx.
