'The Murder of Evesham, for Battle it was none': The Second Baron's War & the Battle of Evesham (1258-1625)

This exciting full-day conference to explore the events that affected the future course of England has been organised by the Mortimer History Society, the Simon de Montfort Society, and the Vale of Evesham Historical Society. Five of the most distinguished scholars of 13th century England will describe the events from the perspective of the key players - King Henry III, Simon de Montfort, Eleanor de Montfort, the Lord Edward (heir to the throne), and Roger Mortimer.

The conference will be held at the Henrician Arts Theatre at Prince Henry School, Evesham. Tickets are available from the Henrician's On line Box Office, by phone, or in person at The Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Shop.There is also the option to pay by cheque (see the website link). If you aren't able to attend in-person, there is an option to attend the conference online via Zoom.
