Description:

The Heart of England Way is a 100 mile long-distance route devised by Alcester Civic Society and officially opened in 1990. We will be walking part of the route from Bourton-on-the-Water to Henley-in-Arden, 45 miles over four days.

 

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to do all four days, it is advisable to book as early as possible to secure a place on the minibus each day (only 14 places). You will need to book Walks 5, 9, 13, 17 individually and then to secure your booking, make a BACS payment of £36 for your minibus transport, payable to:

Day 1 – We will travel by minibus from Batsford Arboretum to the picturesque town of Bourton-on-the-Water. Our route will take us through the ancient villages of Lower Slaughter, Lower and Upper Swell, Longborough (passing an opera house) and Bourton-on-the-Hill (passing Sezincote) before arriving back at Batsford Arboretum.
