The Heart of England Way is a 100 mile long-distance route devised by Alcester Civic Society and officially opened in 1990. We will be walking part of the route from Bourton-on-the-Water to Henley-in-Arden, 45 miles over four days.

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to do all four days, it is advisable to book as early as possible to secure a place on the minibus each day (only 14 places). You will need to book Walks 5, 9, 13, 17 individually and then to secure your booking, make a BACS payment of £36 for your minibus transport, payable to:

We will travel by minibus from Henley-in-Arden to Alcester and then climb the hills on the outskirts of the town for some magnificent views across the Vale of Evesham. We will then pass by the village of Great Alne with its largely forgotten industrial heritage before heading to our finish at Henley-in-Arden. This is a shorter day of walking to finish the tour off nicely.
