Now in its 46th year, the Overbury Street Market is a much-loved village tradition that draws visitors from across the area. There’s something for everyone, with all the usual favourites including book, bottle and “going for a song” stalls, a raffle, bacon butties, a full café and more. We have an honoured guest this year the deputy chairman of Wychavon Council will be opening the market and also drawing the raffle at the end.
New this year – we’re adding extra family fun with a bouncy castle and a selection of games for ages 1 to 100. Overbury Farms will also be on hand selling local grass-fed lamb, honey and apple juice, alongside the community stalls there will be others selling art, plants, cards, wood turning and lots of lovely treats.
All funds raised go straight back into the local community via the OC Foundation (https://ocfoundation.org.uk/), supporting causes such as the village sports clubs, school and village hall.
