Hailed as one of the greatest all-rounders in the history of the game representing England in both Test and One-Day International cricket. He was the first man to score a century and take ten wickets in the same match.
Since his retirement from cricket he has continued his involvement in the game joining the commentary team for Sky Sports cricket, as a columnist for the Daily Mirror and as President of the Professional Cricketers Association.
Awarded the OBE for his services to cricket and charity in 1992 and awarded a knighthood in 2008. Sir Ian’s famous charity walks have secured his place in the nation’s heart. He comes to The Regal along with Geoff Miller his great friend and former England international who just happens to be the funniest of all cricket speakers.
