Evesham Ramblers Walk: Coughton, Spernall & Netherstead
Date: Tuesday 19th August
Time: 10:00am
Description: A lovely 8 mile ramble in the attractive countryside around Coughton, passing through the hamlets of New End, Netherstead and Spernall, plus some bits of the new Heart of England Forest. It’s a varied walk through a nice mixture of farmland, parkland and woodland.
Additional Notes:Most of the walk is on good paths and tracks, plus a few bits of road. There are some gentle undulations but no steep climbs and very few stiles. We could meet some livestock but cattle not very likely. Could be a little overgrown in places. Suitable for well-behaved dogs on leads. Bring refreshments for a snack break.
Start point: Coughton Fields Lane B49 5HR.(Coming from Evesham, Coughton Fields Lane is the 1st turning right on entering the village of Coughton, just before the NT property of Coughton Court. There are some roadside parking spaces about 100 yds along).
Ramblers members and anyone wishing to give us a try are welcome to join this walk. No need to book. See website for full details.
