Description:
The ramble takes us through newly planted woodlands and ancient trees with a diverse array of flora and fauna. Immerse yourself in a blend of Ancient Semi-Natural Woodland, which has been in existence for at least 400 years, and the more recently planted woodlands of the Heart of England Forest. The area is steeped in history with Spernal Park being the site of a deer park dating from the Medieval to the Post Medieval period when the woodlands were managed for timber and charcoal production.
