Rhythm in Life Workshop |15 May 2026 | 7–8.30pm
Wallace House Community Centre, Evesham £10
Do you spend a lot of time rushing around, keeping all the plates spinning and pushing through to deal with everything life demands, then later notice the tight shoulders, shallow breathing or restless sleep that follow?
You might have heard the story that when our ancestors felt out of balance in that way, the first thing the healer asked them four questions:
When did you last sing?
When did you last dance?
When did you last tell your story?
When did you last sit quietly and listen to your heart?
Those questions highlight something fundamental about the human condition. Rhythm, movement, expression and stillness have always helped people return to themselves and restore balance. In our modern, fast-paced and busy world, we need this wisdom more than ever.
Rhythm in Life creates space for that reconnection. This immersive session brings together gentle breathwork, dance-based integrative movement and meditation to help restore communication between body and mind and support nervous system regulation.
Open to all ages and abilities, including those with two left feet. No previous experience needed and all exercises are adapted to suit you as an individual.
Please bring a bottle of water and a cushion, and wear comfortable clothes. No need to book in advance but we would love to know if you are coming and are happy to answer any questions you might have.
